Fantastic Family Getaway
Fantastic little cabin, perfect for a quick family getaway. Kids enjoyed running around outside while we enjoyed the sunshine on the rear deck. Cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our couple nights stay and was a great location. Only downfall was that it would be great to have a queen bed in the larger room but that is just personal preference. Check in/check out instructions were really clear and had no issues with any of the booking process. Thanks for the great weekend!

First time visit to Halls Gap and loved Bagara Cottage! Spacious, clean and well equiped...there was even paper towelling & salt & pepper :) Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings The beds were very comfortable.
Bagara Cottage
Great place to stay in Halls Gap. The cottage is cosy and comfortable with excellent facilities including a modern kitchen and bathroom, lovely deck and a perfect tranquil setting with lots of visitors, the local wildlife that is! The wood fire kept us cosy and warm despite the winter weather! Highly recommended for all ages.
Great Stay
We had a great time exploring and hiking around the area, the house was clean, neat and tidy with a lovely new kitchen and bathroom. There was plenty of firewood to light a fire each night to keep us warm as well as lots of blankets, and also regular visits from kangaroos and deer to the yard which our children loved. Nice sunny outdoor deck to sit and relax during the day as well.
Amazing stay
We had such a great time in and around the town of Halls Gap. Bagara Cottage was cosy (loved the fireplace!), comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable and lots of extra blankets were available for the cold weather. Visits by the kangaroos and birds were special.
Lovely stay
Fabulous base to stay, clean, easy, with everything you need. We loved the birds in the backyard.

Comfortable 2 bedroom cottage that had regular Kangaroo visitors to help with the lovely views Just a walk to town and a great stopping point for all the fun of the Grampians Would highly recommend

Janet was a great host. She very kindly adjusted the dates of our stay after I made a mistake on booking. The place is lovely in a great location. We loved the fire.
Perfect Mini-Break
We couldn't have been happier. The cottage was clean, comfy, and relaxing. It had everything that we needed, and was only a few minutes from the middle of town. What could be better than roaring fire and kangaroos grazing outside the window. The only thing I wish is that they used doona covers on the beds, instead of sheets but this seems to be the done thing everywhere now.
Great Winter Getaway
So much to do, inside and out. Loved exploring the Grampians and resting in our cottage to recharge. Everything you need in the kitchen, and plenty of activities to entertain young and old inside. Was super chilly on our visit, so lucky to have both wood and electric heating and plenty of blankets to keep us warm after a day out exploring! The two kangaroos that greeted us each night was a nice welcome home too. Well worth the wait after having to postpone last year due to border closures, made all the easier thanks to the hosts fantastic flexibility. Thanks Janet 🙏🏼
