We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Country Lane Cottage. The home is well equipped, nicely decorated and enjoyable to stay in. Thank you for the highly functional split system - we were there during some VERY hot days and appreciated having it. Thank you too for the little extras, like games, a well stocked kitchen, the BBQ (we really wanted to use it but ended being too hot and simply enjoyed local restaurants). Thanks for the guidebook and clear instructions on how to get in and use everything. I would highly recommend Country Lane Cottage - in fact I already have - to anyone visiting Halls Gap. Oh - and the view was delightful! Great value for the money. Cheers!

School Holiday Getaway

We enjoyed having a fire, playing jenga and warming up after some walks in the area. The cottage was comfortable for 4 people and the BBQ worked well. The beds were very comfortable. Halls Gap is a spectacular location for a school holiday getaway.

Cosy & Peaceful

A very cosy and peaceful weekend! Loved the birds on the front porch. House had everything we needed, was very neat and clean.

Quality accommodation

The cottage was impeccable and more spacious than I had imagined. I had the impression that the cottage gets thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. The layout was perfect for 3 adults. The bed I slept in was comfortable. The arrival day had reached 40oC. The ceiling fans and split system air conditioner helped to make the first night tolerable. The fly wire screens on the windows were in good repair, so no concern about biting insects. Kitchen was well stocked, with utensils and crockery. Ample seating with six dining chairs and a couple of comfortable couches. Country Lane Cottage truly is a high quality property. If I needed accommodation in Halls Gap again, I would certainly consider staying in Country Lane Cottage.

Relaxing Stay

Really enjoyed our stay at the Country Lane Cottage. It was clean, had most cooking utensils and great fire options inside and out. The setting was wonderful and sitting outside enjoying the wildlife with a glass of wine was very relaxing. Overall, would definitely return for a relaxing weekend full of local options to keep you busy.

Has everything you need.

Loved staying here as has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Very clean and inviting with lots of character. Modern bathrooms and decor appealing as well as practical. Surrounds and wildlife are icing on the cake and distance from town an enjoyable walk. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Great spot for chilled weekend

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the cottage as the location is perfect to be close enough to the town but far enough away for the peace and quiet. The cottage is spacious, well fitted out and has had some recent updates to give it a more modern feel. The resident cockies are good entertainment when relaxing back on the porch which is well set up for a barbie or a quiet coffee. The fire in the living area is great for the cool nights and we enjoyed getting the fire pit going as well. All in all - thoroughly recommend the cottage for a couple or family break

Highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking for accommodation in Halls Gap. Very clean and had is fully equipped with everything you need. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the big spacious modern bathroom. We will definitely be back A +++
