A lovely stay
We enjoyed a three night stay at School House Villa and couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodation. Perfectly suited for couples the residence provided everything we needed. It’s is one of the better resourced places we have stayed in particularly in relation to utensils, crockery and cookware. The location is great! An easy walk to town and all that is on offer along with direct access to walking tracks. The spa was a relaxing bonus particularly after our return walk to the Pinnacle! Communication with Halls Gap Accommodation was excellent and information regarding access and departure was very easy to follow. We had a great time and would highly recommend School House Villa as a place to stay for couples.
Central, quiet, well set up
The location is not just close to the township and its food options but is also a great starting point for iconic day walks in the Grampians - Chatauqua Peak, the Pinnacles loop. The villa is well set up so you can easily return to its warmth and comfort and cook yourself a meal. Its all you could want and we will definitely come back.
Perfect
It was just perfect in everyway. Just what we needed. Amazing views, perfectly located, close to everything and yet private as well. The double spa was a perfect way to relax and recover after a day of hiking the many trails. We were disappointed to leave and look forward to coming back. Absolutely loved it.
Great Location
If you want to be in the heart of Halls Gap, close to all food, coffee, supplies and a stone's throw from where many of the walking trails begin, then this is the perfect spot. Despite being amongst it all, the School House Villa remains private and quiet. It has everything you need - the gas log fire was fantastic on he cooler nights. The local roos are very welcoming too!

We were here 4 years previous and absolutely loved it. So here we were again. The Grampians don't change and the villa is as lovely as ever. Highest quality in the heart of Halls Gap.
A pleasure to host. They were friendly, communicative and the property was left clean and tidy. I would recommend as a guest to any host and they are welcome back anytime.

Accommodation first class; location to town spot on; great surroundings; resident kangaroo family a joy; surprise visit from a couple of kookaburras; pure joy.
An absolute gem!
Looking for cosy, comfortable and centrally located accomodation in Halls Gap? Then look no further than The School House! We loved this place for is warmth, modern facilities, position in the town, and amenities provided. The double spa was an added bonus! Other highlights included a very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities, and great heating (log gas fire and reverse cycle heating). The communication from Janet was first class!! Highly recommend.

Great cottage walking distance to everything in Halls Gap. Had everything we needed and more. Very quiet and relaxing.
