Good value for money

We stayed for 3 nights. Was lovely clean and tidy 2 bedroom. Had everything we needed. Liked that it was close to halls gap centre. Loved the backyard with all wildlife. Definitely would like to come back and visit again.

Clean, Tidy has all you need

Stayed in Feb 2026 with a friend. Great space, great back yard to play Bocci, all kitchen needs such as baking paper, foil glad wrap, salt pepper, sauce, garbage bags etc... Liquid laundry for the washing machine, Air Conditioner works a treat, although the house maintained a good level of self-coolness. The bathroom looked recently renovated, the BBQ was recently purchased. The big question is would I stay again, most definitely.

Great house for a family

We had just two nights at the Gap Holiday Cottage but we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well presented. I found the beds to be very comfortable and the towels were lovely and soft. The kids were happy to discover some toys in the cupboards to play with. Kitchen had everything we needed and we made use of the BBQ facilities on the back deck. Walking distance to Halls Gap town centre as well as to the information centre. The air conditioning and ceiling fans were a life saver as we managed to pick a very hot weekend!

We enjoyed a relaxing few days in this comfy cottage. Very clean and plenty of room for us. Cottage is well located within easy walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Recommended to all.

Wonderful location/wildlife!

The Gap Holiday Cottage was perfect for our four day long weekend away. The views, location and wildlife surrounding us were spectacular! The Cottage is close enough to the ‘township’ of Halls Gap to be convenient, but far enough away to have a real sense of peace and serenity. Kangaroos, emus and deers were our companions each evening when we returned after a day of hiking and bushwalking. The Cottage has two very comfortable bedrooms - the king size bed in the main room was super comfortable after a hard days walking! All amenities were clean and in great working order. Sitting on the large back deck of an evening looking at the stars was a particular delight. Highly recommend this as a short or long term stay for one or two couples.

We really enjoyed our family stay, very homely. Great backyard for kids, all enclosed.

Very clean, and well set up

We had a weekend away, and found the house really clean and well set up. The heating was effective. Kitchen and rooms were a good size. Will stay again.

All needs covered

Had a lovely relaxing time at The Gap Cottage. Back yard with fire pit and wildlife viewing was wonderful. Great walk at the end of the street and easy to pop on the bike track into Halls Gap for supplies or just ice cream!

Loved our stay at the Gap

We had a wonderful 6 nights at the Gap. The accommodation and location met all our expectations. The Gap had all we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Close to everything but also away from the business of Halls Gap. Our hosts were always quick and helpful responding to our communication. Would highly recommend.
