Featuring three spacious and elegantly designed bedrooms, Three Acre Retreat comfortably accommodates up to 10 people, making it ideal for larger groups or families. Each bedroom is thoughtfully appointed with plush bedding and abundant natural light, providing a relaxing and comfortable retreat.
Our gourmet kitchen is a food lover's dream, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, ample counter space, and all the necessary equipment for preparing delicious meals. The kitchen includes an automatic coffee machine (bring your own coffee beans), refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, and a range of kitchen utensils.
The open-plan living and dining area create a comfortable and inviting space for guests to gather and unwind. The living area features a cozy lounge with an electric log fire, a large flat-screen TV, and ample seating. The adjacent dining area includes a large dining table for 10 people, additional bench space with bar stools, perfect for family meals and dinner parties.
The property boasts two modern and stylish bathrooms, providing ample space for everyone to freshen up and get ready for the day. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, add to the convenience.
Step outside onto our expansive deck area to enjoy the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The deck is furnished with plenty of outdoor seating and dining options, ideal for al fresco dining or simply relaxing with a good book. A Weber BBQ is available for guests to whip up a delicious outdoor feast.
For those seeking a bit of friendly competition, a table tennis table is provided. The spacious yard features a basketball ring and ample room for both children and adults to run around. Additionally, a bike track runs past the property, leading into Halls Gap and Lake Bellfield, offering a scenic walk or ride into town.
As the sun sets, guests can gather around the outdoor fire pit on chilly nights (not during fire-ban season and bring your own wood), roasting marshmallows and enjoying the starry sky. Three Acre Retreat truly offers something for everyone, ensuring an unforgettable stay in Halls Gap.

100% nature and fresh air!
3 nights in winter at Three Acre retreat - couldn't be better!. Accommodation is spotless clean, well laid out and great for family living. The exterior is right in the heart of the Grampians and nature is literally on the doorstep. We had kangaroos up close every day. Thoroughly recommend for a group break that's only 3hrs from Melbourne.
Family getaway
We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing few days at Three Acre Retreat. We needed some time to get away from it all and re set as a family and it certainly delivered. Spacious, yet cosy and comfortable. Great location, easily accessible to town, a myriad of walking tracks and the Zoo, which is a must do. Highly recommend this property.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at 3 Acre Retreat in Halls Gap, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of this fully renovated home. Nestled in a breathtakingly green environment with stunning views, 3 Acre Retreat provided us with the perfect escape. As a family of four, including two teenage girls, the space was not only ample but also thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort. One of the highlights for us was the large deck overlooking the expansive yard. Spending our mornings and evenings there with a drink in hand, taking in the serene surroundings, became a cherished part of our stay. The tranquility of the location made it difficult for us to leave. The attention to detail at 3 Acre Retreat was commendable. The house was impeccably clean, and every amenity we could possibly need was provided. The owners have truly created a home away from home. Additionally, the property's location was ideal. Its proximity to shops and cafes made it convenient for us to explore the local area without any hassle. In summary, 3 Acre Retreat exceeded our expectations in every way. We had an absolute ball and didn't want to leave. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Girl’s weekend away
Peaceful getaway with all the mod cons, well appointed and modernly decorated. Close to shops but also feels secluded. We enjoyed drinks on the deck, streaming movies, visiting local wineries and visits from kangaroos, kookaburras, deer and an emu. A piece of luxury with a country feel. The air was so fresh, will definitely visit again!
Group Birthday Celebration
This is a fantastic house, great location and plenty of room. Outdoor fire place and decking with table tennis table. Inside was spacious and lovely and warm. Kitchen was well equiped with everything you need. Heaps of board games and maps of grampians and walking trails. Would definitely come back....
Miss
This property was simply picturesque. The outlook was so peaceful and relaxing, while the inside had a contemporary warm vibe. We all loved the indoor fireplace and cosy feel it gave us, however we also loved sitting around the outside campfire toasting marshmallows. So much was thought of for our stay, from a wide range of board games, to paper and colouring pencils, to the information books on recommended walks. The kids loved the table tennis, while the adults enjoyed a morning cuppa on the lounge on the deck in the morning sun. Will definitely be coming back for our group holiday.
