Love this place

This is the second time we have stayed at Aztec House. It’s a beautiful little home in a lovely setting. We only have 2 things which we feel should be attended to by the owners. We had to change bedrooms as the mattress in the bedroom off the lounge is so rock hard and the base creaks everytime someone moves in the bed. We hardly got any sleep. They both need replacing. Also, the temperature today reached 32 c. We had both air con’s going on the lowest setting and the ceiling fans but the heat coming through the windows above the curtains was so hot. The house didn’t cool down until midway through the night. We had to open doors to let some cool in. Drapes on these windows are a must for the hot weather. We will definitely stay here in the cooler months as the wood heating is fantastic.

Great communication leading up to our stay.. Easy check in and a very clean house.. Property had everything we required.. Great location..About 15 min walk into Halls Gap along the footpath… Quiet location for a relaxing time away..

Great place to stay!

We keep returning to Aztec for its wonderful accommodation at Halls Gap. This year it was clear that there has been a fresh lick of paint and other updating of the home, which shows that this home is cared for. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in the glorious Gariwerd national park!

Great place to stay

Aztec escape was the perfect base for my hiking adventures. Peaceful, quiet and great location.Spa was divine especially after a long day of hiking. Had all the creature comforts of home. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend a stay here.

Aztec Escape was the perfect accomodation for our adventures in Halls Gap. The house was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable even during 35 plus degree heat days. The spa bathtub was our highlight to relax in after our strenuous hikes. At night we got to see wallabies and kangaroos in the front yard. The beds were very comfortable, there was clean linen and even a washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place for your next trip to Halls Gap.

Great stay at Aztec escape

We recently stayed at Aztec Escape for a long weekend. We had a great time and the accommodation was perfect! There was everything you could need for a stay. Great heating, comfortable beds, great size place and excellent location. Will def book again!

Absolutely loved our stay. It’s was lovely and cosy. The wood fire created a lovely ambiance. The place was very clean and spacious. Easy walk to town. Lots of kangaroos around and trees which was really nice. Janet was quick to reply to any questions.

Lovely relaxing stay

Aztec was a lovely relaxing peaceful place to stay. Clean and modern, and the huge spa was a bonus! Great location and full kitchen was great
